Braden has had his first loose tooth for about a month. Today he started crying and screaming that he was scared and afraid for his tooth. I checked it and it was just dangling there. I knew it was time and so did Braden. He screamed and cried and after about 5 tries he finally let me grab it. I barely yanked on it and out it popped. He was completely freaked out by the blood and the tooth. He refused to hold it so I put it in a baggie for him. After about 5 minutes (and after it stopped bleeding) I finally got a smile out of him and now he is very proud and happy!

Point No Point Beach
Sorry about the pic of Dom's back side but seriously! I kept trying to take a picture of him and he'd bend over to pick up a stick or a shell or something. Stacy and I were cracking up! Ha Ha Pun intended.

The water was ICY cold. I could barely stand to step in it! Despite the chilly water the boys had a blast. Braden was brave enough to go in the water up to his waist! We enjoyed watching seals swim in the water and diving for fish. We also walked to a small, but quaint lighthouse. There was lot's of driftwood washed up on the beach just as described in Twilight.
Closed Bridge leads to unexpected fun and adventures....
This is the half finished bridge that kept us from getting to Forks. We set out at 7:15 a.m. on a 4 1/2 hour journey and 1 hour into it we came to this closed bridge. It was an additional 3 hours to go around it. (I pulled over and asked a guy who was out washing his truck.) We were disappointed but Mom and I are certain we will get there someday! This same guy (who by the way laughed at me when I asked how to get around the bridge and laughed even harder when I told him my final destination was Forks) kindly told us some other fun places to visit. He told us about this park where we could see the bridge and take a pic and there was fun equipment for the boys to play on. After the exciting discovery of the crabs (see later pictures) the kids played at the park and Stacy and Mom went off to take pictures of flowers and whatever else Stacy could find.
Seattle's Farmer's Market
Seattle's Famous Fish Market
This is the Fish Market. Most people just stood around and watched. The guys who work there are called Flingers. When people order their fish (either to take with them or have shipped) a Flinger standing in the crowd calls out the order, gets the fish and throws it back to the other Flingers. I tried to get a picture of them throwing the fish but I didn't do a very good job.

Mini Crabs
We had a good laugh trying to get up the courage to hold a tiny crab. It was really creepy! They were like little spiders that ran sideway's and fast! It took me a while to work up the courage to pick one up. Sam had no problem grabbing them and he really enjoyed trying to catch them. Stacy has some great pictures of me freaking out as I try and hold one and then immediatly tossing it.
