Closed Bridge leads to unexpected fun and adventures....

This is the half finished bridge that kept us from getting to Forks. We set out at 7:15 a.m. on a 4 1/2 hour journey and 1 hour into it we came to this closed bridge. It was an additional 3 hours to go around it. (I pulled over and asked a guy who was out washing his truck.) We were disappointed but Mom and I are certain we will get there someday! This same guy (who by the way laughed at me when I asked how to get around the bridge and laughed even harder when I told him my final destination was Forks) kindly told us some other fun places to visit. He told us about this park where we could see the bridge and take a pic and there was fun equipment for the boys to play on. After the exciting discovery of the crabs (see later pictures) the kids played at the park and Stacy and Mom went off to take pictures of flowers and whatever else Stacy could find.
