Canada

Taking the ferry from Canada back to the US
Friday Harbor

We explored the small town of Port Sydney, waiting for our ferry to cross back into the US. They're very careful at border points and ask the kids questions to make sure they are ours.
Exploring Tide Pools in Victoria, Victoria Island BC

After walking all over Victoria Sam was tuckered out. He fell asleep right away.

At our hotel in Vancouver the three boys slept in the same bed, lengthwise. But in Victoria Dom piled a bunch of blankets on the floor and slept there. It looked very comfortable!

Fancy Hotel ? Convention Center ? Very pretty building and grounds

Parliament Buildings (beautiful!)

San Juan Islands
These pictures are from the Vancouver to Victoria Island ferry.

Vancouver BC ( I wished I could have got a better shot, there were many tall buildings and it had a unique European feel too it. (Not that I've been to Europe) I was navigator and had to make sure we got on the right roads, so I didn't get a good shot of the city. It was a very clean, nice city and fun to explore. As soon as we entered Canada I was surprised at how different it was. All signs went to metric and every road was Royal this or Queen that. The lanes on the roads were layed out different and stop lights were different. I did hear a lot of "Eh?" and lot's of signs in French (and TV channels!) and of course we had to do the whole currency exchange thing.
Huge pool right by the ocean (the water further back, reflected was the ocean) in Stanley Park, Vancouver

Vancouver Aquarium (This was an awesome aquarium! They had lots of stuff I hadn't seen before and some fun interactive experiences.)

Waiting in line for Spongebob in 4D. Our first 4D experience. Totally cool. Whenever I see 4D I'm taking the kids. It was so fun!

Thanks for sharing. You took some really good pictures. My favorite is the boys sitting by the statue looking up. Did you tell them to mimic the statue? Miss you all!

Yes, we did tell them to mimic the statue. I liked that picture too. BTW, who is Just Me?
